MAURO LAUS
In 2005 he was elected with 8 thousand 950 votes to the Regional Council of Piedmont, in the Daisy ranks. The following year he is the first regional councilor to ask for the establishment of the single group in the Region between Ds and Margherita: this is the start of the debate for the construction of the Democratic Party.
In 2007 he was appointed secretary of the Margherita for the city of Turin, the following year he was deputy secretary of the Democratic Party ever in the subalpine capital.
In 2010 he is reclaimed as a regional councilor in Piedmont and is elected with 7 thousand 549 preferences. In the Region he is vice president of the Culture Commission.
In the 2014 elections he was re-elected (proportional share) in the Turin constituency with 7 thousand 716 votes of preference. On June 30th of the same year, at the inaugural session of the 10th legislature, he became president of the Regional Council.
