Svastha Yoga - Functional Approach- Sunday 2 June 10.00 - 11.15

As a yoga teacher, we might face a lot of problems within the group of our students. Mostly yoga teachers are neither educated as physiotherapists nor health care practitioners and still we can bring a lot of benefit to our students. The functional approach, as we call it in Svastha Yoga, is a means to follow along in one - to - one teaching situations, when yoga students face one ore the other problem. We will elaborate about the basic approach and use the shoulder and the knee as an example to be more practical. As a lot of students nowadays come to yoga because of problems with the locomotor system, so this can be a useful approach to be learned.
